Now that our sales funnel is all setup, we just need to drive some traffic to it.
Here's a video to give you an overview of how to start getting traffic to your
squeeze page.
Here are some methods for traffic generation:
1. Forum marketing
✔ Create a signature linking to your squeeze page. Give a good offer/call to
action... “Learn how to make $7,761.30 in 33 days - Free Report”
✔ Make useful posts in the forum
✔ Craigslist and Backpage have forums that get a lot of traffic. Do a "Google
search" and you can easily find a forum that's relevant.
2. Blog Commenting
✔ Find blogs related to your product and leave a useful comment along with
a link to your squeeze page
✔ You can also outsource this cheaply using Odesk, Digital Point, or Warriors
for Hire
3. Yahoo Answers
✔ There are several guides that in-depth on Yahoo Answers strategies, but
the basic gist is to answer questions with good information and link to your
free page.
4. Online and Offline Classifieds
✔ Craiglist
✔ USFreeAds
✔ Backpage
✔ Your local newspaper
✔ Thrifty Nickel, free papers, etc.
5. Article Marketing
✔ This method is slower than many of the above at generating traffic because
your articles typically need to be approved before they go live, and then it
may take a little while for them to rank in the search engines. The nice
thing is this can be outsourced if you like.
✔ Here's a great course on article marketing that's only $7. It's definitely a
solid course considering the tiny price-tag! Download here instantly.
6. Paid Sources of Traffic
✔ Bidvertiser - Click here to get $20 in free credit
✔ PPC (Pay-per-click) - Adwords, Yahoo, Bing (I would avoid this method if
you don't have experience with PPC)
✔ Plenty of Fish - I have had some good success with this method advertising
here. The great thing here is you can start with $25, it's a CPM (pay for
impressions) model, but if you're sending traffic to a squeeze page with a
freebie, you should be in good shape. Remember that this may take testing
to get right. As with any paid method, testing is the key.
✔ Facebook - I have not had great success here personally, but I haven't
invested that much time in testing and tweaking on Facebook. I personally
feel like the social media traffic is hard to make work, but there are some
people that are highly successful with it. Search the WSO section of the
Warrior Forum and you'll find several guides that provide good information
on this.
✔ Remember with paid traffic, you're not only going to make some sales, but
you're building your list, so you can market other related products over
time which makes the money you spend to get leads a better value
(Clickbank, other PLR, CPA offers, etc.)
